Based in Cousances-lès-Triconville (Meuse - France), the Dongé cheese dairy describes itself on its Facebook page as the ‘specialist in Brie de Meaux PDO made with raw milk since 1930’.
Brie de Meaux is obviously the star of the catalogue at this cheese dairy, which employs almost fifty people.
But visitors at the Cheese and Dairy Products Show 2024 were able to (re)discover many other products on the stand, including Coulommiers made from raw milk, Petits Dongé, a creamy triple-crème called Le Barisien and various versions of Brie (with black truffle, Saint-Jean truffle, Meaux mustard, green Indian pepper, etc.).

The show also gave visitors the opportunity to discover the major new product launched in 2024 by the Dongé cheese dairy: black Brie, matured for several months to create an almost crumbly texture but above all an intense, fruity flavour.
‘Coup de cœur’ in 2022
Now a familiar exhibitor at the show, Luc Dongé, who now runs the cheese dairy with his brother Jean-Michel, appreciates the opportunity to ‘get to know (his) European customers and, why not, approach a few prospects’, as well as promoting the company's values: ‘traditional, manual expertise using raw milk’.
This expertise was recognised in 2022 by the jury of the 'Coup de Cœur' contest, which awarded a prize to the 'Barisien à la truffe de la St Jean', a soft raw cow's milk cheese with a bloomy rind, enhanced by a thin layer of St Jean truffles (4.5%). Dongé, ‘Coup de Cœur en 2022’… and why not in 2026 ?
