Detailed description

Description :

The only Belgian cheese with a Protected Designation of Origin, Herve cheese has been admired by cheese lovers since the Middle Ages. Its square shape, orange color and typical aroma characterize an authentic cheese, inseparable from the region that gave birth to it: the Pays de Herve. Herve is a soft cheese with a washed rind. This means regular ripening, as each cheese is washed and turned several times over a 4-week period.
